General Information

The Forest Granite Works deals strickly with graite because it is a very high queality mineral, lasts forever, and is much less susceptible to mold, mildew, and genveral weathering than other types of rock.  our granite comes in an array of sizes, shapes, and colors.  The lease expensive is the Enterprise Blue - a blue/gray clor - whereas the most expensive is the royal Black.  As a general rule, darker and larger markers are more expensive.      Marker prices and sizes range from just a few hundred dollars for small bevel markers to a few thousand dollars for larger monuments markers.  Prices of all of our monuments include all engraving on the front, a concrete foundations, transporting, and installing.  If an order is placed in early to mid-summer, delivery time is usually between 8 to 10 weeks.  If an order is placed during the winter months, because of the snow, frost, etc., delivery will be in the sprint of the following year.  Our cut-off date for guaranteeing a stone will be set before winter is Labor Day.  If a purchase is made after that, there is a chance that the marker will not be set until the following year.  For specific questions about having a monument set before a certain date (e.g. Memorial Day) please call or e-mail us viat the link at the bottom of this page.      Although a small business, we reach a wide range of cemeteries around the Notherwoods.  We reach all or at least most of the cemeteries in the following counties in Wisconsing and Upper Michigan:  Forest, Floresne, Iron, Langlade, Lincoln, Marathon, Marinette, Menominee, Oconto, Oneida, Price, Shawano, Vilas, and Iron.

Company History

The Forest Granite Works was established in 1997 by Eugnee and Evelyn Glinski.  It is a family ownd and operated busienss.  The decision to stay small and localized has helped to keep product quality and customer satisfation extremly high.      In 2000, Eugene retired, handing owernship down to his wife, Evelyn, and two sons, Benjamin and Theodore.      In the summer of 2001, we purchased the Gerber Omega(tm) computer software program that allos us to precisely desigen and personalize each and every marker.  This new software will help the Forest Granite works to better serve the Northwoods with all of its monument and marker needs.       By 2006, the partnership had grown so much that we made the decision to upgrade to a LImited Liability Company.  We believe that both the company and our valued cusomters will benefit from such a move.  We are proud to say that Benjamin is the new CEO, Theodore is the CJO, and Evelyn is now the CFO of the Forest Granite Works, LLC.

The marker I want is very expensive, I am not able to for it all at once.  Is there anything I can do? Although Our prices are very competitives, we realize that these markers are still very expensive for many customers.  Foretunately, we do accept payment in installments.  It is our strict policy that we do not start on the marker until we have the half o f the entire price down.  Howefver we do take payments in a miniumn of %50.00 per month until the total of the marke is paid. I don't plan on dying any time soon.  Why do I need a marker? Many people would rather not think about their final expenses until that time is about to come.  However, it always comes for everyone.  Why not get ready now?  There are many benefits to piction out a maekrs before it is needed.  Firest of all, choosing the maker that is right for you can take some time and careful considerstion.  Also, it si going to be your stone.  Should you be the one to choose it?  Often times, choosing a maekrs is left to the survivors wo can rarely decide on just one type, size, color, or design.  Why have your greiving family pick out your markeer when you could do it for youself?
